Kids Running Camp
This camp, held last summer, was a huge hit and sold out just two weeks after registration opened. I’ll be offering it again this summer, through the South Kingstown Neighborhood Guild, so keep an eye out for their summer camp brochure (usually available sometime in March).
Check Your Form
Making even small tweaks to your running form can pay off in many ways – it can improve your running efficiency, helping you to run faster with less effort; it can help prevent injuries; and it can simply make running more enjoyable (less pounding, less unnecessary effort expended). In just an hour spent at a local track, I can review your running form from various angles, and work with you to suggest small changes that can have big payoffs. After a half-hour review and discussion, we’ll spend the second half hour putting the changes into practice. $40 for one hour of review/instruction.
YMCA Running Groups
I’ll be facilitating a Couch to 5K Running Group at the South County YMCA starting sometime this spring. Our target race will be the Matty Siravo 5K on Memorial Day (May 26). If you’ve always wanted to run a 5K, but didn’t know where to start, or don’t want to go it alone, this is the perfect solution!
